“Elmiran” was completed by Karen Lynn Interiors in 2012 as a new construction project in New Bern, North Carolina Hatteras shipyard location.She was commissioned by a Brazilian Owner who had definite plans about making the yacht interior and exterior unique and special compared to other Hatteras yachts on the market. She met with the Client and determined the specific design direction and earth toned masculine color palette. She made changes to the existing factory layout and made changes to the interior architecture and woodwork, over head and lighting plan in order to make the yachts Interior function better and be more athletically pleasing.

She custom designed all of the cabinetry fronts, headboard walls, port and starboard lighting in the salon and selected all of the beautiful finishes and rich earth toned plush materials for the yacht soft goods. She coordinated with shipyard and builder on all levels and also provided drawings for all the custom interior components she altered and designed. She also made changes to the custom hardtop covered flybridge area on the layout and provided and designed all exterior areas. The yachts interior is rich and luxurious while being simple and cozy at the same time.
