“Distraction” was refitted with the vision of creating a elegant first class charter yacht. Karen Lynn Interiors was selected to do the project and given 7 weeks to transform the old interior into something magnificent.
We began the process by selecting all the materials, furnishings, window treatment designs and flooring with the Clients that were in stock and available immediately. We reupholstered a restyled all of the loose furniture using gorgeous silks and chenille in shades of cream and sage green. We replaced all of the worn mattresses and bedding with new gorgeous custom bedding and redesigned the headboards using soft neutral materials using opulent fabrics. We replaced all the carpeting and flooring. We created a new layout in the sky lounge with a new sofa sectional and area rug. We also recovered all of the exterior cushions in a fun orange and red Sunbrella fabric. We completed “Distractions” interior in 7 short weeks which was record time for a yacht this size and then she was sent to Med to began her busy charter season.
